Rachael Gallagher, M.S., OTR/L
Rachael is a compassionate and thoughtful occupational therapist with a diverse background in pediatric sensory and reflex integration, early intervention, telehealth, and aquatic therapy. She is certified in Interactive Metronome and trained in DIR/Floortime, blending a client-centered, holistic approach with playful, engaging interventions that empower children to thrive.

Rachael earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Occupational Therapy from the University of Scranton, where she contributed to and presented research on executive functioning and emotional regulation as foundational skills for academic success.

She also presented internationally on culturally sensitive, client-specific approaches to supporting refugees—an experience that continues to shape her trauma-informed care today.
Rachael is actively pursuing her expertise in DIR/Floortime and sensory integration as well as additional certifications in Functional Vision Rehabilitation and Autism Spectrum Disorder specialization.

Outside the clinic, Rachael is deeply involved in her community. She serves on the board of the Sean King Fund for Inclusive Practices, volunteers with Delaware County’s Special Olympics, and coaches a local swim team. She is especially passionate about water safety—both in and out of the pool.
