Emily Fridberg MS, OTR/L
Emily holds a Master’s in occupational therapy from the Washington University in St.Louis. Throughout her career, Emily has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, and homes with children ranging from birth through school-aged. She is passionate about helping children and their families develop the skills, independence, and confidence to participate in activities that are meaningful to them. Emily has experience in treating a range of needs including sensory processing, fine motor, visual-motor/ perceptual, feeding, ADHD, motor planning, and emotional regulation.
Emily has been trained in Zones of Regulation program, which focuses on promotingself-awareness, regulation, and overall well-being through tailored strategies. She hasexperience utilizing the Handwriting Without Tears and Social Thinking curriculums tofurther assist children in achieving their full potential. In addition, Emily has been trainedin the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding program through the Sensory Therapiesand Research (STAR) Institute to address sensory feeding challenges in children. Sheis also actively pursuing further training of the evaluation and treatment of SensoryProcessing & Integration Disorder from the STAR Institute. Emily is committed toserving both the child and their family through collaborative goal setting andindividualized treatment plans to meet their needs most effectively.
